Mission statement

The Ultrasound Lab strives to achieve profound knowledge and progress in ultrasound and medical sciences with three primary topics focused on developing new clinical applications in ultrasound, bio-effect and safety related investigations as well as implementing new technical quality assurance procedures.
The Lab´s research activities are based on
- theoretical studies          - experimentation         - clinical set-ups

To achieve these goals the Lab is working on different medical ultrasound research projects interdisciplinarily together with clinical partners from the hospital and with external partners, societies and companies.

For knowledge-transfer in ultrasound sciences the Lab is integrated in teaching activities within the
